Assignment BBT3283 - Gourmet Tourism Experience

Hello everyone, bonjour; today i will be posting a blog about foods. but let me open this with what matters with the main post topic which is gourmet tourism experience.

Culinary Arts is an art of the mis-en-place(prepare) and cooking of foods. the word culinary is commonly defined and related to cooking, or pantry, kitchen. a culinary artist or Chef is the person working in the culinary culture, a culinarian working in restaurants kitchen and their job is mainly to skilfully create meals that are pleasing to the eye but also to the taste of goodness. they are required to have a knowledge of the science and art of food, and also having the knowledge of diet and nutrition.
Recently i have a friend, asyraf or by surname Yap, an ex-co worker who have worked in hotel kitchen just the same as me and also who have experience working in TGI Fridays franchise before opening his own little shop in a new shopping complex Bangi Gateway; Bangi that is called D'Astana Western. a little bit about background is that this shop is own by his own money, operated by only 3 person of yap, his brother and mother. all three has knowledge and background on cooking but more to western and Italian food such as steaks, lambs, chicken chops, pastas, etc.

This is Asyraf aka Yap. Owner of the D'Astana Western

so there i was last few weeks after a week of opening of his new shop with a bunch of close friends going to the shop just to see how the shop was. although the shop looks small but the reception of people coming to the shop is quite many.as i came to the food court, there were many people who are actually going to to Yap's shop as well. i greeted my friend and he treat us just like a customer and also close friends. although he was busy, we did get to catch up on what's his plan.
D' Astana meaning is Istana, or Royally speaking as im not quite sure much about it as it is related to negeri sembilan (a region located between putrajaya-bangi and melaka) people but that's how the name was first created for the shop. as you, my fellow readers can see; the shop theme is all about western but a lil bit of TGI Fridays theme= red,white,black as well and also the foods. but bear in mind, the foods are not a copy of 100% from TGI Fridays as Yap's cooking are his own recipe and are not a copy of TGI Fridays food #Note.
Since that is cleared, now i will show you a few pictures of what his menu has to offer in his little shop of his;
Lamb Chop Garnish with Parsley and side coleslaw, french fries, and brown sauce dip.
this was an amazing food that i order, i literally went sleep after eating it. #Joke

Black Pepper Chicken Pasta

Aglio E Ollio Pasta

And here are the list of the menu so far :

It was a great dinner moment when alot of my friends gathering and enjoying the food and atmosphere bring by my chef friend there. the friendliness is comforting when your conversation and the foods are together. there were also talks about making some local food mix with western on the making just to add new items in the menu.
it would say, for anyone whose reading this; give it a try to go to this shop even for once, there's a possible chance that your experience there will be great and almost enjoyable. you can ask the chef any questions regarding the foods because he will always be around 24-7.
